As part of our on-going initiative to promote and address the needs of old age care and housing requirements, Age Ventures India has recently undertaken a survey of various old age / senior citizen homes in Delhi / NCR area. The purpose of the survey was to undertake a needs mapping exercise of these homes. The survey was to provide the homes with an opportunity to list their requirements in terms of support required for improving the quality of care they offer their residents.
There are approximately 80 Old Age Homes covering the entire area of Delhi / NCR . Majority of them are charitable and a few of them are on pay and stay basis. The information based on the survey has been collated and listed based on the feedback received from the respective Old Age Homes.
We request corporate houses and individual to come forward and support the old age homes with their needs which are as basic as equipments for communal kitchen, basic health and medical care equipments, recreational items like books, music system, computers for administration etc.
We sincerely request people to donate old items which are functional and can be used by these old age home.
